Our Current Needs

• Sustained Giving: We are seeking monthly, quarterly, or annual donors to help cover the increasing costs of running the You Glow office.
• Expanding Staff Hours: For the past few years, financial limitations have kept our staff team working at reduced hours. This was more manageable while operating primarily online, but with the return of in-person programs and events, the demand on our staff has significantly increased. Over the next year, we aim to expand staff hours to better support our growing programs.

Where Does Our Funding Come From?

We rely on funding applications and fundraising efforts to deliver our programs and events, as well as to provide counselling and therapeutic support to the women and girls we work with.

• Keeping Our Operations Running – Covering essential expenses such as office operations and public liability insurance, ensuring we can continue offering support safely and effectively.
• Supporting Our Dedicated Team – Funding salaries for our hardworking staff, including our full-time team member who coordinates and delivers our services.
• Providing Life-Changing Programs – Running courses, counselling, and therapy sessions by covering venue hire, workshop facilitators, counsellor costs, and course materials. These services empower our beneficiaries with knowledge, guidance, and emotional support.
• Supplying Essentials to Families – Providing much-needed supplies such as milk, nappies, toiletries, and small clothing items to mothers, babies, and families facing hardship.
